On Aug 28 we took another 150 kg (4
bags) of coconut meat to San Juan to sell and then on in to St.
Bernard to get supplies for the store. As a side note to the travel,
our normal buyer for coconut meat was closed and we went to a buyer
we have not previously used. Our moisture content should have been 4
– 5 %. They measured it at almost 11%. They were either sloppy
and swapped our sample with another or were just flat out crooked.
Either way, we will not go there again.
Now that the complaint is out of the
way, we had our lunch at Kissbone Cove. We have seen them
on the internet and finally tried them out. They are a resort with
nice looking facilities.
Food was decent, but service was very
slow. It took over an hour to get served after taking our order.
We still plan on going back for an
overnight visit as the place looks extremely relaxing with killer
views of the sea and the bay with the mountains of St. Bernard. We
will update this post at that time.
